Welcome to Autropic ("we", "our", "us"). By using our hosted tools API at tryautropic.com, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Autropic provides hosted API tools for AI agents and developers. Our free tier includes basic utility tools (weather, time, calculator, etc.) that can be accessed without authentication.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services responsibly:

• Do not abuse, spam, or overload our APIs
• Do not use our services for illegal purposes
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits
• Do not transmit malicious code or content
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

3. Rate Limits

Free tier usage is subject to rate limiting to ensure fair access for all users. Current limits:

• 100 requests per minute per IP address
• 10,000 requests per day per IP address

These limits may change. For higher limits, contact us about enterprise plans.

4. No Warranty

Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uptime or availability (though we strive for high availability)
• Accuracy of third-party data (weather, crypto prices, etc.)
• Fitness for any particular purpose

5. Limitation of Liability

Autropic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
